At the Cat Care Clinic, we believe that the most effective and humane way to control the outdoor pet population is to Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR).
If you have cats in the neighborhood or are a caretaker of a colony, we can help you get preventive care for your cats. Our veterinarians offer a package for the Indianapolis area feral cats at a highly discounted rate thanks to donations.
Community Cat Package: $50 for Males, $75 for Females
- Spay or neuter surgery with pain medication
- Rabies vaccination
- FVRCP (distemper) vaccination
- Ear tip for identification
Medical treatment can be provided as necessary and as requested by the caretaker in consultation with the veterinarian.
For information on how to care for a community cat, please refer to the document prepared by Indy Feral on Community Cat Care Guidelines.
You can report acts of neglect, cruelty, abandonment or abuse directed against any cat to the Mayor's Action Center (MAC) at (317) 327-4622.
The Cat Care Clinic is also a participating veterinarian in the Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana's spay-neuter assistance program (SNAP) to assist those that may not be able to afford to have their pet spayed or neutered. For more information, visit the SNSI website.
